Mynydd Fforch Dwm Wind Farm is a project being brought forward by Naturalis Energy to provide clean energy to homes and businesses across South Wales.
The project is near to the village of Tonmawr in Neath Port Talbot Council area. The site lies within a pre-assessed area for the development of new renewable energy. This means that the Welsh Government has identified that the area is suitable for clean energy generation.
The plans for Mynydd Fforch Dwm Wind Farm were consented by the Welsh Cabinet Secretary for Economy, Energy and Planning in December 2024. The Mynydd Fforch Dwm Wind Farm includes:
